For one night only! Love & Death welcomes a return to the heady days of Prohibition, when guys were gangsters and gals were gorgeous; when Bathtub Gin rotted the gut and ragtime music fed the soul. Knock three times and ask for Joe!

An alternative to the usual Christmas fare, this is a return of the hugely popular 'SSSH! Speakeasy' night that was such a successful part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival back in May.
This time, the entertainment will feature the lovely Lady Bunny, the divine dancer, Smack, the mistress of the music, Ms Lala the Showgirl, and of course, our delicious cigarette girls will be selling their wares. Russian Tea (Vodka), Dutch Tea (Gin) and Irish Tea (Whiskey) will be available, although we will cunningly disguise the alcohol by serving everything in teacups and teapots so the Untouchables won't find out!
Our 'underground' club is based on the second floor of Love and Death, where the adjacent outdoor smoking area doubles as a look-out station, allowing The Management to keep an eye out for possible police raids.
Admittance is by ticket only - and you will need to knock three times and ask for Joe, but be warned! - give the wrong password and you'll find yourself back out on the street!
